Service SchedulingBellingham, WA, March 1, 2021Dealer Information Systems (DIS) Corp., leading agriculture, lift truck, construction, and truck refrigeration dealership software vendor in North America, is pleased to announce they have made some advanced upgrades to their Service Scheduling product that will take the tool to new heights. The goal of these updates is to make the Service Scheduling module even more user-friendly and to incorporate feedback from service managers.

DIS Service Scheduling helps dealership service departments keep their techs accountable and productive while ensuring that all work orders are addressed efficiently. Service Writers can easily create, assign, and track work orders, while also keeping an eye on each tech’s activities and time clock entries – in real-time. If they need further details, such as unit or customer information, they can quickly access them in just a few clicks.

On top of the features already available in DIS Service Scheduling, dealers will now be able to:

  • View schedules across multiple service departments in multiple branches
  • Drill down to customer records
  • Save favorite filters for quick and easy access to relevant data
  • Access Service Scheduling whether your in or outside the dealership
  • Enjoy a faster and more user-friendly interface

These new features are available for Service Scheduling customers at no additional cost.
Dealers interested in Service Scheduling are encouraged to reach out to their DIS account manager to schedule upgrade.

“We have enjoyed the ‘real-time’ aspect of Service Scheduling, such as being able to see how the schedule compares to actual time clock entries,” said Adam Palmer from Thermo King of Pittsburgh, Inc. “Additionally, having access to a list of work orders from within the business system has been very helpful, and being able to drag those work orders right from the list onto the schedule makes it easy to plan out work.”

“We are excited to be delivering an even more advanced Service Scheduling product that was developed so tightly based on our customers’ feedback,” says Randy McIntyre, General Manager at DIS. “This is yet another example of the commitment DIS and our valuable customers have toward more advanced tools for the market we serve.”
