DIS User Conference

We’ve wrapped up another DIS User Conference and we’re delighted to say that this was the best one to date!

The User Conference is where DIS users come together to make connections, share knowledge, and discuss all things dealership management software. We had whopping total of 115 attendees join us at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel in sunny San Antonio, TX! We greatly appreciate these folks for taking the time to join us.

For this year’s conference, we had three main goals that we aimed to achieve to make attendance worthwhile:

  1.  To help our customers get the most out of their DMS.
  2. To provide our customers with the opportunity to learn from other dealers.
  3. To prepare our customers for the future by providing the latest on DIS products and unique insights for the equipment dealership industry.

Here’s a recap of what we delivered to help achieve these goals at the conference:

Training Sessions for All

This year, we had a jam-packed agenda with four different learning tracks for core business systems Quantum, Quipware and Solutions, as well as a dedicated track for DIS Analytics, a highly valued tool that many of our customers are leveraging.

Led by our team of industry experts, sessions focused on a variety of relevant industry topics to provide valuable insights into the industry, setting your dealership up for success and the latest about DIS products.

An Inspiring Keynote

Our keynote session was led by Russ Green, Operating Officer of Machinery Advisors Consortium, an industry veteran with over 45 years of experience. Russ has contributed to the growth and expansion of several international industry players in North America, and we were delighted to have him share those insights with DIS customers.

Keeping in line with our conference theme of Building Blocks for Success, Russ provided inspiring insights into how attendees can take the lessons they have gathered at the conference and translate them into action back at their own dealerships to prepare for the anticipated challenges of the next few years.

Insights from Customers

We once again hosted a customer panel discussion to share insights from people on the frontline. This year’s panel featured:

Brittany Dinkins, Lead Service Advisor at Thermo King of the Southeast

Victoria Taitel, CFO of Reno Forklift, Inc.

Ryan Polete, Process & Systems Manager at H&R Agri-Power

Stefan Schriewer, Chief Operating Officer of Ewald Kubota

They shared their firsthand experiences leveraging DIS products to grow their businesses, as well as the challenges and successes they’ve faced in the past year.

Connecting With Other Dealers

Many conference attendees commented that their favorite part about the conference was networking with other attendees. We couldn’t agree more!

Meeting other dealers from different industries and regions gives our customers valuable insight into best practices and innovative ways to utilize their DMS to improve their businesses. By learning what works for others, they can explore new strategies to implement back home.

Attendees had ample opportunities to network during the welcome banquet dinner, as well as at breakfast, lunch, and open lab sessions.

This venue offered immediate access to the vibrant city center, including a variety of cafes and restaurants along the River Walk. The hotel provided a sophisticated, yet cozy, atmosphere—perfect for hanging out and unwinding after a long day of learning!

It’s All Thanks to YOU!
