DIS user conference

We were thrilled to be able to gather again for our annual user conference! Once again, we were able to connect with dealers and industry experts to share knowledge, network, and take part in insightful discussions on dealership management best practices.

In total, 120 attendees joined on November 15-16 at the beautiful Loews Hotel in vibrant New Orleans—an amazing turnout and a testament to the collaborative spirit of our dealership community. It’s a big ask for our customers to take time out of their busy schedules to meet up in person and we appreciate it very much.

We set out to achieve three main goals to make this year’s user conference worth attending:

  1. To help our customers get the most out of their DMS.
  2. To provide our customers with the opportunity to learn from other dealers.
  3. To give a deep dive into key products like DIS Analytics and Service 360.

Here’s a recap of how we delivered on those goals.

Exclusive Training Sessions

One of the biggest draws of the conference was the agenda offering learning tracks for each of our business systems: Quantum, QuipWare, Solutions and Minitrac. The sessions were led by our team of industry experts and offered insights relevant to all areas of the dealership, from budgeting to analytics to accounting to customer service, and more.

An Exciting Keynote

Our keynote speaker was John Andersen, dealership industry expert with over 30 years of experience as an evangelist of the construction and ag equipment industries, across multiple platforms and vendors. John delivered a thought-provoking—and side-splitting—presentation on the hidden value of big data that lives in every dealership.

We were honored to be able to host a panel discussion featuring three DIS customers:

Ryan Polete, Process & Systems Manager at H&R Agri-Power
Brittany Dinkins, Lead Service Advisor at Thermo King of the Southeast

These savvy folks shared their insights on how dealerships can leverage automation and analytics to improve operations and identify growth opportunities.

Making Connections

When else do we have an opportunity to get so many dealers and industry experts in one room? That’s why we made sure to provide ample opportunities throughout the conference for people to mingle:

  • A welcome dinner and reception with a live jazz band. Not a bad setting to let loose and do some networking!
  • “Open Labs” between dealers and our product expe

rts, to ask questions and get answers immediately.

The Story of Constellation Software

DIS User ConferenceA Top-Notch Venue

There’s a reason that millions of tourists flock to the Big Easy every year. Many conference attendees commented on how delicious the food at the Loews Hotel was and we agree—New Orleans is a world-famous food destination for a reason.
